We got the professional photos back that we had taken of Avery. Here are some of my favorites!

Hiccups 2.0

When I was pregnant Avery had the hiccups at least twice a day. Now that she's here, she still gets them. I feel so bad for her because they are so loud and look like they hurt -- I wish I could take them away for her.

Today our friend Melinda came to our house and did Avery's newborn photos. She is a fantastic photographer and I can't wait to see her edited photos, but here is one I snapped on my phone while she was fiddling with her camera.

And here's one I took before we went and visited my coworkers on Wednesday. It was finally warm enough to wear one of her cute dresses!

2 weeks old today!

I can't believe Avery is 2 weeks old already. We're still trying to help her figure out which are days and which are nights, but other than that she has been such a great little addition to our family.
