26 weeks!

How far along? 26 weeks
Weight gain/loss: +12 (that is until my appointment this week :-/)
Maternity clothes? Yep. I now have some maternity pants that fit thank goodness!
Stretch marks? I choose to ignore them.
Sleep? Hopefully once we are all better from this bug we seem to have we might actually get some sleep again.
Best moment this week? Getting the new house painted and new carpet in the playroom. I can't wait to see both my girls play in their new space.
Movement: When is she not moving?!
Food cravings: Not much but carbs are my friend.
Gender: Girl!
Labor signs? I've had some contractions mild, inconsistent contractions from dehydration while I was sick, but they are gone and this little girl needs to stay in for several more weeks.
Belly button in or out? It has disappeared. .
What I miss? Being able to do any activity without getting winded. Baby Nunley 2.0 is sitting much higher than her sister did and pressing into my lungs I think.
What I am looking forward to? Seeing my sister this weekend. She is pregnant too and it will likely be the only time we are ever pregnant together in the same place.
Weekly wisdom: Carpe diem is overrated.

Hernandezes visit!

One of Justin's best friends from childhood, Anthony, had a daughter last year. Since they live on the other side of the country (booo, thanks USMC) we rarely get to see them, but in December baby Payton and Anthony's wife, Daniella, visited and we were finally able to meet Payton. She is a doll and we are really bummed we won't get to see her (Anthony and Daniella, too!) as often as we would like.

As luck would have it all three of the Hernandezes visited again this month on their way to visit Daniella's family in Australia. We were lucky enough to be able to spend several hours visiting and catching up. It was a blast. I wish we could all get together more because I miss having good friends nearby. Before we left we tried to get a group shot, but it was late and the girls were tired. I actually think it's a funny picture and one I will treasure having all six (seven if you count baby Nunley 2.0!) together at one time.

Shhh

One of Avery's favorite activities is reading books. Well, obviously I mean she loves when we read her books. With the amount of books we read they are bound to get boring (to us, not her) so we frequent the library to get some new material. This week we stopped by on Thursday when a preschool was having story time. She wasn't interested in sitting and listening to the book they were reading, but she did very well picking out some new books to read, carrying them over to a table out of the way, and quietly perusing them. I was very proud of my little girl being so courteous. She really loves the library.

25 weeks!

How far along? 25 weeks
Weight gain/loss: +12
Maternity clothes? Yep. I even need to find some maternity jeans soon.
Stretch marks? I choose to ignore them.
Sleep? Avery's sleeping has been atrocious. We are needing some serious changes before Baby 2.0 arrives or we are all in for a rude awakening.
Best moment this week? Feeling her move all the time now.
Movement: She is all over the place in there.
Food cravings: Still nothing special or consistent.
Gender: Girl!
Labor signs? Nothing this week.
Belly button in or out? More like flush.
What I miss? Sleep and standing up without grunting.
What I am looking forward to? Moving! Only a matter of weeks now.
Weekly wisdom: Tomorrow is always another day. Keep calm and carry on.

Month in Photos: December 2011

24 weeks!

How far along? 24 weeks
Weight gain/loss: +12 -- yes TWELVE. :-/
Maternity clothes? Oh yea.
Stretch marks? I'm sure there are some, but I choose not to look anymore.
Sleep? It's been okay. Avery has been sick and sleeping with us so we all are struggling. Today she took a 2 hour nap though!
Best moment this week? Justin feeling her move for the first time.
Movement: She is a real mover and shaker. I've even been able to feel "parts" from the outside.
Food cravings: Nothing much this week.
Gender: Girl!
Labor signs? I've had a few Braxton Hicks contractions, but nothing to worry about.
Belly button in or out? Still in but barely.
What I miss? Sleep.
What I am looking forward to? Now that we have found a place I am most looking forward to moving in and making it our home.
Weekly wisdom: Don't even look at the scale.
Milestones:
24 weeks. 6 months. Day of Viability. Holy crap.
