Baby 3.0 - week 36

How far along? 35 weeks 5 days
Weight gain/loss: 25lbs :-/
Maternity clothes? Even those are starting to get snug as you can see in this picture.
Stretch marks? Surprisingly no new ones yet.
Sleep? It's hit or miss. I wish I could get comfortable. And unfortunately for Justin I've recently started snoring so he's not sleeping much better.
Best moment this week? 35 weeks means only 35 days left until my due date. If this baby follows in his sisters' footsteps he'll be here even sooner than that!
Movement: He's quite the mover and now that he's running out of space it's getting a little uncomfortable actually.
Food cravings: Still sour cream.
Gender: Boy :-)
Labor signs? Contractions every day now. Nothing regular or overly painful, but daily nonetheless.
Belly button in or out? For the first time in any pregnancy it's actually an outie! What I miss? Sleeping comfortably in any position and being able to move without waddling.
What I am looking forward to? Meeting this little guy!
Weekly wisdom: Relax and go with the flow. Or at least try.

Milestones: We're in the home stretch. Less than a month left!

35 Weeks!

How far along? 35 weeks.
Weight gain/loss: +27
Maternity clothes? I love my maternity yoga pants.
Stretch marks? I hate them.
Sleep? Avery is getting better, but my sleep is not improving. Better start getting used to it.
Best moment this week? Becoming an auntie! I am so excited for my sister.
Movement: Still a little wiggle worm.
Food cravings: Nothing really lately.
Gender: Girl.
Labor signs? I was in labor and delivery on Sunday night for contractions that were 2 minutes apart. I had to get a shot to get them to slow down and I have been having them sporadically for the last few days. She needs to stay put a little bit longer, but I highly doubt I will make it to my due date.
Belly button in or out? Outie.
What I miss? Letting Avery sit on my lap and snuggle close in.
What I am looking forward to? Meeting her!
Weekly wisdom: Don't over do it.

Art Project!

Today Justin & I were on a mission to get some of the last things we still needed for the nursery. One of the few things we've been putting off is getting the letters to put on the wall above the crib. Today we finally decided on some from Michaels, but they needed to be painted.

We were going to wait to paint them until next weekend, but I couldn't wait! Check it out!

At first I painted the wrong side of the V -- they stuck the label on the wrong side! So once we hung it up, I had to take it down and paint the other side.

Here is the finished product!

How far along? 35 weeks 4 days!
Weight gain/loss: Up 14 total.
Maternity clothes? Are starting to feel a little small.
Stretch marks? What stretch marks? ;-)
Sleep? Has become a task to say the least.
Best moment this week? The maternity pictures we took on Friday!
Movement: She's a little gymnast!
Food cravings: Nothing really.
Gender: Girl
Labor signs? Just practice contractions every once in a while.
Belly button in or out? Mostly out now.
What I miss? Laying on my stomach.
What I am looking forward to? Getting the glider in that my parents bought for us! (Thank you so much!)
Weekly wisdom: Rest when you need it.

A last hurrah!

Last weekend Justin & I took a road trip to Oregon to visit our friends Matt & Jessica.

On Friday we were able to get our maternity photos taken by Joe at Beyond Images. He and his wife, Stephanie, are the photographers who did our wedding too.

Then Justin played in a fundraiser golf tournament for the golf team at Matt's school. It was very successful and they were able to raise almost all the money they need for the entire season!

Once we got back on Sunday we celebrated 4th of a July with the Johnson's.

On Monday Holli & I had a girls day. Since she had a scheduled c-section on Tuesday we just relaxed. We shopped a little, had a nice leisurely lunch, and got pedicures. Since we were early to our appointment at the spa, we decided to dip our feet in the jacuzzi. One of the massage therapists came out looking for her client and we got her to take a picture for us!

It was a great way for Justin & I to have one last quick trip, just us two and a great way for Holli and I to spend our last day both pregnant together.
